KATIE WOOD, Clinical Psychologist

Katie is an experienced psychologist. She is a warm and compassionate therapist and she is enjoys working with adults presenting with a range of concerns, including anxiety and worry, stress, adjustment, depression and mood concerns, self-esteem, perfectionism and procrastination and addiction. Katie has a special interest in working with younger adults (18-25).


Katie has prior experience working with people experiencing a variety of mental health concerns mostly in the public sector, including in inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol settings, as well as university counselling services. 

Katie works with primarily cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques. 


Katie is a registered practitioner with the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA. 

DR JESSICA DWYER, Senior Clinical Psychologist


Jessica has over 15 years experience helping clients with their mental health. She enjoys working with patients with a range of clinical presentations, with a focus on anxiety, depression, and adjustment. Jessica is thorough, skills focused, and she enjoys connecting with her patients. She has a long background in child and adolescent development and her main interest is working with parents to promote a positive and effective parenting approach to reduce the conflict and stress at home. 


She began her career in the United States, moving to Australia in 2010. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating mental health issues in a variety of environments, including day treatment programs, schools, community mental health settings, and private practice. Jessica offers a compassionate, therapeutic approach that includes recognised therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). 

Her work is conducted in a safe, supported space where clients are encouraged to develop effective and strong skills that will help them achieve success in their lives and overcome their individual challenges.



MOUMITA PAUL, Psychologist

Moumita is a fully registered psychologist with over 13 years of experience. She is passionate about mental health and thoroughly enjoys her work. Moumita brings a sense of playfulness and light-heartedness to her therapeutic style, as she is aware that therapy can be a daunting process for some individuals.

Moumita’s past clinical experience ranges from community, schools and hospital settings. Four years ago she made the transition to private practice. She now predominantly focuses on young adults and adults. She has special interests in individuals presenting with trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, parenting issues, stress and other lifestyle factors.

Moumita is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She is motivated to provide tailored and evidence-based treatments to empower, and build her clients resilience so they can hopefully live a more fulfilled life.

Moumita is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has an Associate Membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS)


EMILY WYNTER, Psychologist

Emily Wynter is an experienced registered psychologist who brings a compassionate, thoughtful and practical approach to her work. Emily has a particular interest in the mind-body connection and she has worked extensively with people experiencing gut-related issues such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, having spent several years with the specialised Neurogastroenterology Centre at Queen Mary University of London. During her time there she ran a cognitive behavioural treatment program and completed research focusing on the effectiveness of psychological therapy for behavioural belching disorders.


Emily enjoys tailoring interventions towards individual patient goals and typically incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness based strategies, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into her practice.


Emily holds memberships with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).


Andrea is an experienced psychologist, who combines her clinical knowledge with a warm and down-to-earth manner (with the occasional touch of humour) to make therapy meaningful, relaxed and authentic. Andrea is interested in working collaboratively with adults experiencing a range of concerns and issues, including adjustment, depression, perfectionism and anxiety (including worry, social anxiety, panic and obsessive compulsive disorder), and has a special interest in working with women and men experiencing mental health issues in the perinatal period.  


Andrea has over 15 years’ experience working at Prince of Wales Hospital, within various clinical settings including youth and adult community mental health, perinatal and infant mental health, and is currently involved in the establishment of a new clinical program for adults.


Andrea works primarily within a cognitive-behavioural therapy framework (CBT), and will draw on a range of other evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  and mindfulness-based approaches. She has presented at conferences and workshops, and published research in the application of mindfulness for stress reduction in adults who experience severe mental illness. 


Andrea completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training in psychology at the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney, and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). 


DR CARRYN MASLUK, Principal and Practice Owner


Dr Carryn Masluk is the founding Principal of TalkSpace Psychology. She enjoys working with adults and she understands the stressors, the juggles (and the joys!) that come with parenthood. Carryn has a particular interesting in working with new and would-be parents (both mums and dads) who are coping with becoming new parents, managing the mental load, stress and anxieties, career and carer burnout, and loss of direction.


Carryn is the mother of two school aged children and a dog. She has had the privilege of working with clients for over 10 years at the Prince of Wales Hospital and privately at the Black Dog Institute in Randwick. She has owned her own private practice on-and-off since 2013. Carryn is also an experienced speaker and conducts teaching and training workshops for universities, hospital staff, and allied health professionals on mood and personality disorders. She holds a Conjoint Lecturer position at UNSW and an Honorary role at RPA Hospital for her work in the outpatient adult Congenital Heart Clinic. Carryn is available for clinical supervision.

TRICIA PADOA, Clinical Psychologist 


Tricia Padoa is a dedicated and passionate psychologist who enjoys working with people who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Tricia ​particularly enjoys working with parents who would like tips or support to help their children and build happier families. She has an interest in perinatal psychology and she has published research examining the impact of social media on new mothers.   


Tricia works part-time with the Community Child & Youth Mental Health Team at Hornsby Hospital and has previously worked with adults, young children and adolescents in at the UTS University Clinic, and community treatment programs including the Early Psychosis team in Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs Child and Adolescent service in Randwick. 


​Tricia works from a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.
